Happy November! 2 November 2009

Wow! It’s November already. Who saw that one coming?

Ok. Everyone did. November always comes after October. Here’s something I did not expect to happen, at least so suddenly. Yesterday was definitely in the mid to high 80s and today the high is in the low to mid 70s. It’s nice in the afternoon but I’m rather chilly in the evening and did not have the foresight to bring warmer clothes to my friends’ house where I’m still hanging out. Oops. As a born-and-mostly-raised Floridian, anything under 80 and I want a jacket. I’m sure my Canadian friends find that amusing.

Which brings me to some good news. My foot is better to the point where I can ride my bike! Not super comfortably, but if I can ride a bike I’m sure I can walk up to my 5th floor room now, so I’m hoping to go home tomorrow. Woo hoo!

There was a big Halloween party over the weekend. I had planned on being a zebra but I ended up being an injured zebra. I think it still worked out. I didn’t bring my camera cord here so this has been stolen from Facebook. Unfortunately, you can’t see my tail, but you really should notice my zebra ears. The friends I’m staying with are Pippi Longstocking and Rainbow Brite. I work with Goth Girl.

Happy Halloween!

I hope that if you had Halloween festivities, they were super fun, too.

I had my first scooter driving experience this weekend! I was going down actual roads and such too. Much more exciting than driving around an empty parking lot. You never can tell what these Taiwanese drivers are going to do…

Next weekend there’s supposed to be cricket again! How exciting!
